Cato Slough's Cabin
Cato Slough properties are carefully managed, using state-of-the-art ecological methods and principles to restore the basic ecological processes, functions, and values of bottomland ecosystems. Consequently, these properties support some of the most abundant and diverse wildlife populations in the region and have been used as demonstration areas for education and training of wetland managers from many state and federal agencies, private conservation groups, and hunting clubs.
